Dutch goalkeeper Kjell Scherpen is set to make a high-profile switch to the Premier League, with Ipswich Town securing his services for a reported fee of €10 million from Union Saint-Gilloise. The deal includes potential add-ons worth an additional €3 million, making it one of the most significant transfers involving a promoted club.

The 26-year-old shot-stopper, standing at 1.96 meters, has been in impressive form this season, helping his Belgian club claim both the Croky Cup and the Golden Glove award for the most clean sheets.
