Morocco’s humanitarian efforts: a cornerstone of african cooperation
Morocco has firmly established humanitarian initiatives as a fundamental component of its foreign policy and collaboration across the African continent, an approach deeply rooted in the insightful vision of His Majesty King Mohammed VI. This significant declaration was made by Ambassador Mohamed Arrouchi, the Kingdom’s Permanent Representative to the African Union (AU) and UNECA, during a session of the AU Peace and Security Council (PSC) on Tuesday.
Under the enlightened guidance of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, who also serves as the African Union’s Champion on Migration, the Kingdom ensures that humanitarian endeavors remain at the very core of its diplomatic strategy and African partnerships. Ambassador Arrouchi emphasized that Morocco is steadfast in its commitment, relentlessly working to alleviate humanitarian crises wherever they emerge across Africa. His remarks were delivered during a public deliberation of the AU PSC, specifically addressing the critical issues of refugees, internally displaced persons (IDPs), and the provision of humanitarian assistance throughout the continent.
