Psg turns to Balogun after Ramos departs for Milan
Paris Saint-Germain has officially confirmed its first summer transfer: Gonçalo Ramos has joined AC Milan. This departure leaves a void in the attacking line, and the club is already looking for a replacement. According to sources close to the negotiations, PSG has set its sights on Folarin Balogun.

As widely anticipated, Gonçalo Ramos has signed with AC Milan. The Parisian club made the transfer official through a statement: “After three seasons at Paris Saint-Germain and no fewer than 12 trophies won, including two consecutive Champions League titles, Gonçalo Ramos joins AC Milan on a permanent deal.” The Portuguese striker has committed to the Italian side until 2031, leaving a gap that PSG intends to fill with a new signing.
PSG considering Balogun
And the club may have found an unexpected target. Sources indicate that PSG is closely monitoring Folarin Balogun. The American international was AS Monaco’s top scorer last season with 19 goals in 43 appearances, and he has continued to impress during the World Cup being played on home soil for the USA. Luis Campos and his scouting team are said to be particularly drawn to the 24-year-old striker, who already boasts strong Ligue 1 experience from his spells at Reims and Monaco.
Monaco open to selling
For now, PSG has not made any concrete moves, but if things progress, AS Monaco is unlikely to stand in the way of a sale for Folarin Balogun. The club faces financial difficulties after missing out on Champions League qualification. The American forward is one of three players Monaco has put on the market, alongside Lamine Camara and Maghnes Akliouche, the latter also being tracked by PSG. The capital club could potentially sign two players from Monaco, though Tottenham and Chelsea are also in the race for Balogun.
