Arsenal kick off 2026/27 Premier League season against Coventry City

On Saturday, newly promoted Hull City face a tough opening test against Senne Lammens’ Manchester United. Everton host Crystal Palace, while fellow newcomers Ipswich Town travel to Sunderland for their Premier League return. Nottingham Forest welcome Leeds United, and Brentford take on Tottenham.

Sunday 23 August sees Brighton, featuring Maxime De Cuyper, take on Aston Villa — the Europa League winners led by Youri Tielemans and Amadou Onana. Manchester City, still without a new manager following Pep Guardiola’s departure, begin their campaign at Bournemouth. Newcastle welcome Liverpool.

The opening weekend concludes on Monday 24 August with a London derby between Fulham and Chelsea.

Among the season’s standout fixtures, the London derby between Arsenal and Chelsea on the weekend of 5 September provides the first major clash. A week later, United and City meet in the Manchester derby. Liverpool host United around 21 November. Arsenal face last season’s runners-up Manchester City at the Emirates on the weekend of 28 November.
