Cameroun's minister of justice, keeper of the seals Laurent Esso, was present at the morgue of the Yaoundé general hospital on Thursday, June 25, 2026.

As the official representative of president Paul Biya, the minister of justice attended the body-removal ceremony for Alexis Dipanda Mouelle, first president of the supreme court of Cameroun.

Minister Laurent Esso was accompanied by Laurent Esso, the delegate minister attached to the ministry of justice.

Several high-ranking officials attended the ceremony, including prime minister Joseph Dion Ngute and Jean Nkuete, secretary general of the central committee of the Cameroun people's democratic movement (CPDM).
