The Succès Masra case: Chad’s Supreme Court lists appeal for May 2026 hearing

A significant judicial progression has emerged in the ongoing legal proceedings concerning Succès Masra. According to an official hearing schedule released by the Judicial Chamber of Chad’s Supreme Court, this pivotal case is slated for examination during a public ordinary session of its 2nd Criminal Section, set for Thursday, May 21, 2026, at 9:00 AM.

The official document, signed in N’Djamena on May 19, 2026, by Mr. Samir Adam Annour, the presiding section president, details that case file n°092/25 involves Succès Masra and the Mandakao accused as one party. This group is represented by a collective of defense lawyers, prominently led by Me Kadjilem-baye Francis. Opposing them are the Public Prosecutor’s Office and the Chadian State, with the latter represented by the State Judicial Agency (AJE).
