This high-level diplomatic engagement comes at the direct invitation of Ugandan President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni and is primarily aimed at bolstering the cooperative relationship between Togo and Uganda.

During his stay, the Togolese head of state is slated to hold a private, one-on-one discussion with his Ugandan counterpart.
