The future of social media in Gabon took center stage at a major digital regulation conference held in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire. From June 1 to 3, Germain Ngoyo Moussavou, President of the High Authority of Communication (HAC), participated in the « Abidjan 2 » event. Organized by the African Communication Regulators’ Network (RIARC) and the Francophone Media Regulators’ Network (REFRAM), the gathering brought together African regulators, digital experts, and global platform representatives to address critical issues such as artificial intelligence governance, content moderation, and communication freedoms.
