Talbi Alami reflected on the adoption of UN Security Council Resolution 2797 on July 31, 2025, calling it a decisive milestone in resolving the Sahara dispute. He pointed out that the resolution reinforced Morocco’s position by acknowledging the historical legitimacy of the region and bolstered international support for the Kingdom’s territorial integrity.

The Speaker detailed how the Chamber of Representatives has aligned its efforts with major royal initiatives on both the continental and global stages. He cited Morocco’s diplomatic push to engage Atlantic coastal African states and its commitment to facilitating access to the Atlantic Ocean for landlocked nations.
