Rabat hosted a significant diplomatic encounter on Wednesday as Nasser Bourita, Morocco’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation, and Moroccan Expatriates, welcomed Crispin Mbadu Phanzu. Mr. Phanzu, the Minister Delegate to the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Francophonie, and Congolese Abroad for the Democratic Republic of Congo (RDC), arrived bearing an important message from President Félix-Antoine Tshisekedi Tshilombo for His Majesty King Mohammed VI.

Following their discussions, Mr. Mbadu Phanzu addressed the press, emphasizing the exceptional quality of the bilateral cooperation that defines relations between Morocco and the RDC. He underscored the deep historical ties connecting the two nations. The Congolese envoy further clarified that a primary objective of his visit to the Kingdom was to garner support for his country’s bid for the position of Secretary General of the International Organisation of La Francophonie (OIF).
