A recent assembly culminated in the election of a fresh Board of Directors and an Executive Bureau, now featuring 27 and 12 members, respectively. These newly appointed bodies bring together a comprehensive representation of both public and private stakeholders across the sector.

Concurrently, an extraordinary General Assembly convened, during which the Association’s moral and financial reports were presented and subsequently approved. Furthermore, members passed a resolution to amend AMEPA’s statutes. This strategic revision aims to align its operational framework with the dynamic shifts within Morocco’s vital water sector and invigorate its initiatives, particularly in fostering industrial sovereignty.

Established in 1997, AMEPA currently unites over 95 active members. Its diverse roster includes public and private operators, regional multi-service companies (SRMs), concession holders, as well as industrial firms and engineering and construction enterprises specializing in potable water and sanitation.

Under this refreshed governance, the Association is committed to cultivating a more cohesive and integrated ecosystem. The ultimate goal is to elevate Moroccan industry, engineering prowess, and expertise within the water domain to unparalleled levels of excellence, not only nationally but also across the continent and on the global stage.
