An evening of joy and solidarity brought together West African cultures. Relive the highlights of this vibrant gala.

On june 20, 2026, the Marcel-Sembat hall came alive with the rhythms of West African music and dance during the “Vibrations africaines” gala, organized by Faso Lili.

Before a captivated audience of 170 guests, the event showcased the richness of West African heritage while supporting a meaningful cause.

For years, Faso Lili has championed the preservation and promotion of West African music and dance through classes, workshops, and performances. This annual gala provided members with a platform to present their hard work alongside accomplished professional artists.

The show featured a dynamic blend of live music and choreography, with nearly 70 performers on stage, supported by five professional musicians and two professional dancers. The audience was treated to performances by Samba Diarra, a singer-songwriter, Ali Diarra from the group Les Frères Diarra, and choreographer Moussa Camara. Malian dancer Mariam Doumbia also graced the stage with her exceptional talent and energy.

The evening was filled with infectious rhythms, vibrant costumes, and a true celebration of West African culture. During intermission, guests enjoyed a convivial moment with refreshments available on-site.

Beyond its artistic brilliance, the gala had a humanitarian purpose. Every euro raised went toward funding Faso Lili’s cultural center in Burkina Faso, a project dedicated to promoting cultural access, knowledge sharing, and intercultural dialogue.

Thanks to the dedication of volunteers, artists, members, and attendees, the 2026 edition of “Vibrations africaines” proved to be a resounding success. Once again, it demonstrated how culture can unite people, foster connections, and inspire solidarity.
