Bellaire Travels launches in Douala, shaking up the travel industry
Bellaire Travels, a pan-African travel agency, officially launched on June 20, 2026, in Douala, Cameroon’s economic capital. Guests at the gala evening got a first look at Bellaire One, the company’s new app designed to simplify travel.
On Saturday, June 20, 2026, a groundbreaking initiative took off in Douala, Cameroon’s bustling economic hub. Bellaire Travels, a pan-African travel agency accredited by the International Air Transport Association (IATA), held its official launch ceremony. The goal: to reinvent the travel experience by making it smoother, more human, and more inspiring. This fresh approach covers everything from business trips and personal travel to institutional, event, and cultural journeys.
Daniel Moussima, founder and CEO of Bellaire Travels, shared his ambition to conquer the world during his speech. “Today is a big day! It’s the start of a new era. Bellaire’s purpose is to truly allow Cameroonians to enjoy clear, hassle-free services. We want to bring everyone together on the same project to win the world,” he said.
Nicoline Ebune
For this young entrepreneur, every Cameroonian should be able to step out and find a brand they identify with. “Bellaire Travels is here to revolutionise and revitalise the world of travel,” Moussima added. The official launch was held under the patronage of Samuel Dieudonné Ivaha Diboua, governor of the Littoral region. He was represented at the event by Nicoline Ebune, head of the regional development division.
Speaking at the ceremony, Ebune noted that this commendable initiative reflects the dynamism of Cameroon’s entrepreneurial fabric and illustrates the willingness of many investors to contribute to economic development. According to her, the tourism, services, and international mobility sector now plays a key role in modern economies. “It promotes exchanges between peoples,” she said. Praising Bellaire Travels’ initiative, Ebune added that it is encouraging to see private initiatives emerging that choose to invest in this field and adopt “solutions adapted to the needs of individuals, companies, and institutions.”
