Chad’s prime minister commends Algeria’s leadership role in Africa
The Minister of Public Works and Basic Infrastructure of Algeria, Mr. Abdelkader Djellaoui, concluded a two-day working visit to N’Djamena, where he was received by Chad’s Prime Minister and Head of Government, Mr. Allamaye Halina. During the meeting, the Chadian leader expressed deep appreciation for the efforts of Algeria’s President, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, in fostering bilateral cooperation and strengthening Africa’s integration.
Mr. Halina highlighted the Algerian President’s strategic vision and leadership on the continent, emphasizing Algeria’s pivotal role in promoting solidarity and development across African nations. He underscored Chad’s high regard for Algeria’s contributions, stating that the Chadian government views Algeria as a key partner in fostering growth and regional stability.
The Chadian Prime Minister conveyed fraternal greetings from Chad’s President, Mr. Mahamat Idriss Déby Itno, to President Tebboune. This gesture reflected the deep historical ties and unbreakable bond between the two neighboring countries and their peoples. Mr. Halina also extended warm salutations to Algeria’s Prime Minister, Mr. Sifi Ghrieb, reaffirming Chad’s commitment to deepening bilateral ties and expanding areas of collaboration.
The Algerian delegation, present during the meeting, included senior officials such as the Director-General of the Algerian Agency for International Cooperation and Development, Mr. Abed Hallouz, alongside Algeria’s Ambassador to Chad. The delegation also featured key representatives from Algeria’s Ministry of Public Works and Basic Infrastructure, as well as the CEOs of Cosider Public Works and the National Public Works Company (Entp).
