On Sunday, May 10, 2026, General Hor arrived at the provincial hospital of Sarh Outel Bono to extend his unwavering support to the military personnel who sustained wounds in an armed assault the preceding Thursday.

The primary objective of this crucial visit was to personally assess the condition of the two soldiers affected by the incident. Sergeant Allahguernganye Diro Martial, 36, suffered a serious bullet wound to the chest, while Corporal-Chief Djimet Issakah Dane sustained a fractured left leg from gunfire. Both individuals, initially stabilized at the Sarh provincial hospital, presented injuries demanding more specialized medical attention.

Following detailed discussions with the medical team and healthcare providers, General Moubarak Abakar Nassour Hor promptly requested the swift transfer of the injured soldiers to N’Djamena. This urgent evacuation was deemed essential to facilitate access to advanced medical care and improve their prospects for recovery. Dr. Sayambaye Alladoumdjim, the deputy director of the Sarh provincial hospital, commended the prompt response of the defense and security forces in arranging the evacuation of their comrades to N’Djamena for appropriate treatment. Hospital sources confirmed that the medical transfer of both soldiers was executed as an emergency measure on the very same day, with military authorities expressing their profound hope for a full and speedy recuperation.
