Over 1,500 guests gathered at the French Residence in Rabat to mark French National Day, where Ambassador Philippe Lalliot emphasized the deepening of bilateral relations.
The evening celebration brought together dignitaries including Moroccan ministers Mohamed Saad Berrada and Amal El Fallah Seghrouchni, alongside foreign diplomats accredited in the Kingdom.

In his speech, Ambassador Philippe Lalliot described the evolving relationship as “balanced, forward-looking, and aligned with shared interests.” He highlighted the need to modernize cooperation to address pressing challenges while preparing for future opportunities.
“This friendship is an inheritance we all share,” Lalliot stated. “Our duty is to nurture it, strengthen it, and ensure it continues to flourish.”
The ambassador also commended Morocco’s visionary approach, noting initiatives in cities like Casablanca, Tangier, Marrakech, and Laâyoune, where he recently inaugurated the first Alliance Française in the region.
