Enhancing trans-cameroonian corridor efficiency: Chad, Cameroon, and car collaborate in N’Djamena
N’Djamena recently hosted the 5th tripartite forum, bringing together representatives from Chad, Cameroon, and the Central African Republic to address crucial issues surrounding transit and sub-regional commerce.
The official opening of this significant gathering occurred in the presence of Major General Ousman Brahim Djouma, Director General of Customs and Indirect Duties for Chad. Numerous high-ranking customs officials, port authorities, and key economic operators from all three participating nations also attended the proceedings.
Presiding over the inaugural ceremony was Fatimé Goukouni Weddeye, the Minister of Transport, Civil Aviation, and National Meteorology.
During this pivotal meeting, delegates are set to thoroughly examine the various obstacles impeding the smooth flow of goods along the vital Trans-Cameroonian Corridor. A shared objective among the countries is to streamline transit procedures, foster robust customs cooperation, and significantly invigorate trade exchanges across the entire sub-region.
