Mankono, Côte d’Ivoire – The departmental secretariat of the Rally of Houphouëtists for Democracy and Peace (RHDP) for both Mankono commune and sub-prefecture recently concluded its political re-entry events on July 17 and 18, 2026. These crucial sessions centered on evaluating the outcomes of the 2025 elections, providing essential training for party members, and reinvigorating grassroots organizational structures.

Cissé Namory, the RHDP’s departmental secretary whose political jurisdiction encompasses the Mankono commune and sub-prefecture, firmly reiterated the commitment of party activists within the Béré region to bolster the presidential party’s influence and strength.

Namory expressed satisfaction with the RHDP’s triumph in the most recent legislative elections within his political department, a victory secured by Deputy Salimata Fofana épouse Méité. However, he also voiced regret regarding instances of indiscipline observed among some militants, suggesting that these behaviors at times received backing from certain party executives.

“We bear a responsibility to be transparent with our members to safeguard the cohesion and effectiveness of our political endeavors,” he declared, urging for enhanced discipline and unity across the RHDP ranks.

The political re-entry program featured two significant components. The initial day was dedicated to a strategic seminar under the theme: “Drawing lessons from the last ballot and charting the course for the new militant cycle.”

During this occasion, Professor Soro David, the RHDP’s deputy national secretary overseeing political structures, led a compelling conference titled “The contribution of the National Development Plan (PND) 2026-2030 to the growth of the Béré region.”

Professor Soro highlighted the achievements realized in Béré through the PND 2021-2025, subsequently outlining the promising prospects presented by the forthcoming PND 2026-2030. “The Béré region has greatly benefited from the PND 2021-2025 and stands to gain even more with the PND 2026-2030,” he asserted, detailing numerous planned initiatives across the education, health, and infrastructure sectors.

Professor Soro also commended the unwavering dedication of regional leaders and citizens who stand alongside President Alassane Ouattara. He emphasized that their active involvement serves as a vital catalyst for Béré’s development and strengthens governmental actions in this part of the nation.
