Mayelia PARTICIPATIONS unveils strategic vision after SICTA acquisition in Côte d’Ivoire

The holding company Mayelia PARTICIPATIONS has officially announced its successful acquisition of SICTA (Société Ivoirienne de Contrôle Technique Automobile), the established and historical leader in Côte d’Ivoire’s vehicle inspection sector.

During a press gathering in Abidjan on April 29, David Fofana, CEO of Mayelia PARTICIPATIONS, provided insights into the SICTA acquisition. He also detailed the significant progress achieved within a year since its effective integration into the group’s operations.

By incorporating SICTA, Mayelia PARTICIPATIONS not only inherits five decades of invaluable industry expertise but also injects a powerful new dynamic of innovation into its established framework.

A primary objective articulated by the management is to substantially elevate the user experience. This goal appears highly credible given Mayelia PARTICIPATIONS’ proven track record, notably with the launch of Mayelia Automotive, which successfully reduced customer waiting times to just 30 minutes, thereby setting new benchmarks for service excellence in the automotive sector.

The company is committed to aligning with the government’s “Zéro complaisance” policy, positioning itself as a crucial partner for the State in enhancing road safety across Côte d’Ivoire and actively working to reduce traffic fatalities.

Beyond its core vehicle inspection activities, Mayelia PARTICIPATIONS is rapidly emerging as a dynamic, multisectoral group. Driven by a bold pan-African vision and a strategy centered on synergistic activities, the group currently operates in two countries and oversees six subsidiaries. These subsidiaries are strategically positioned across key sectors including mobility (Mayelia Mobilité), technology (CIEIRIA), professional training (Mayelia Academy), and specialized vehicle inspection services (Mayelia Automotive Côte d’Ivoire, Mayelia Automotive Guinée, SICTA).
