A significant milestone in academic cooperation has been reached with the signing of an ambitious partnership between two prominent management science organizations from Morocco and Spain.

The agreement was finalized this past Saturday in Santander, bringing together the Association marocaine de gestion (AMG), headquartered in Rabat, and the Association scientifique d’économie et de direction d’entreprise d’Espagne (ACEDE).

This memorandum of understanding establishes a robust framework for collaboration. It focuses on several key areas: promoting scientific exchange, launching collaborative research initiatives, and organizing joint academic events. The partnership also aims to build bridges between researchers, faculty members, and doctoral students from both nations.

As active members of the International Federation of Scholarly Associations of Management (IFSAM), both the AMG—which maintains close ties with Université Mohammed V de Rabat—and ACEDE are committed to deepening the scientific relationship between the Moroccan and Spanish research communities.

A primary objective of this initiative is to enhance the professional development of doctoral candidates and junior researchers. By facilitating their participation in international scientific networks, the partnership seeks to elevate the global standing of management scholars from both Mediterranean countries.

Representing the leading management academy in Spain, ACEDE has been a cornerstone of the field since its inception in 1990. With a membership exceeding 700 university professors and researchers, its mission centers on fostering rigorous academic inquiry and improving business administration education.

Through this collaboration, AMG and ACEDE are poised to revitalize scientific dialogue between Morocco and Spain, providing young academics with unprecedented access to global scholarly circles.
