Morocco is ramping up efforts to secure the necessary funding for the Atlantic African Gas Pipeline (AAGP), a groundbreaking energy project developed in collaboration with Nigeria. The North African kingdom has initiated discussions with the U.S. Export-Import Bank (US Exim Bank) and the World Bank to raise a total of $26 billion in financing, according to Moroccan Ambassador to the United States, Youssef Amrani.
