Ndiaga Seck clears the air on his private life before investigators
During his sworn testimonies, Senegalese politician Ndiaga Seck made a striking revelation about his relationship with Prime Minister Ousmane Sonko, addressing the matter of his private life with unwavering clarity. In a blunt statement, he declared, « Xamul woon li may dund »—« He knew nothing about my personal affairs. »
With these words in Wolof, Seck emphasized that Sonko had no awareness of his sexual orientation or lifestyle choices. The case, which originated from the urban police station in Linguère, is now progressing under a detention order issued by the investigating judge’s office in Louga.
A 51-year-old political figure, Seck was charged and placed under provisional detention this Monday by the investigating judge of the Louga Court of First Instance. His remand followed his transfer from the Linguère urban police station, where he had been held in connection with alleged unnatural acts.
