In a statement, the professor recounts the unfortunate incident at Douala airport involving politician Jacques Bertrang Mang, a former student of his.

Here is his statement:

Paul Biya, a support for eternity: My loyalty remains a block of steel against seditious intimidation

By Professor Jean Gatsi

Cowardly attacked at Douala International Airport by an activist following orders, I break my silence through this scathing indictment. Behind the violence and digital defamation lies an attempted intellectual assassination aimed at making me pay for my unconditional support of President Paul Biya. Against the partisans of chaos, as an intellectual of conviction, I reaffirm that my determination remains of granite.

Analysis of a failed cabal and celebration of a fidelity that draws its source from the divine anointing of the Head of State.

Introduction: The Douala attack or the convulsions of partisan felony

Cowardice now has a face, and it expresses itself in the terminals of our airports. A few days ago, I was the target of a barbaric attack at Douala International Airport by an individual clearly instrumentalized. Not content with harming my integrity, this agent of subversion spread images of his crime on social networks, accompanied by defamatory statements of rare violence. While waiting for the justice of my country — which I have seized through a formal complaint — to crush this impostor, currently being sought by security forces, a nagging question arises given the timing: who benefits from the crime? The answer leaves no ambiguity: they seek to make me pay for my unwavering support of the Head of State and my systematic denunciation of the seditious entrepreneurs that are Kamto Maurice and Issa Tchiroma Bakary.

To decipher this maneuver of psychological destabilization, I will analyze the obvious correlation between my doctrinal work and this cowardly attempt to silence me, then demonstrate why the intellectual terrorism of the putschists collapses before my oath of divine obedience to President Paul Biya.

I. The chronology of hatred: A plot against the sanctuary of peace

Chance does not exist in politics, even less so in the laboratories of insurrection. On 20 May, I published a monumental work of 600 pages, a true vade-mecum of sovereignty, entitled: ‘Paul Biya, the sanctuary of peace facing the challenges of contemporary history: The art of quiet strength as a shield of a sovereign nation.’ It is precisely at the moment when I launch the popularization and deployment of this scientific exegesis that this remotely controlled attack occurs, orchestrated to sully my honor and sabotage my reputation. The professionals of disorder have understood that this book is a heavy ideological munition that pulverizes their revisionist fables.

They want to silence the combat intellectual who, the first in Cameroon, launched the republican call of academics and civil society for the candidacy of the Head of State in the October 2025 presidential election, well before the formal structures of my political party, the RDPC. I supported this candidacy with an unshakable faith when he accepted this sacrifice for the Nation, I fought with the last energy against the illegal candidacy of Kamto Maurice, and I crushed the insurrectional lies of Issa Tchiroma Bakary. This fight for truth triumphed: the President was acclaimed by the sovereign people, and I had the distinct honor of attending his oath of office. It is this resounding victory that the losers of history are now trying to make me pay for.

This airport cabal confirms the diagnosis I have been making for years: the offices of chaos are at bay in the face of the monolithism of republican thought. By targeting me, the putschist factions seek to create a climate of terror to paralyze the organic intelligentsia of Renewal. They forget that science and patriotic commitment do not retreat before the assaults of the brigands of thought, and that each persecution only further roots my stature as an impregnable sentinel of the regime.

II. The determination of the monolithic bloc: Obedience to God against insurrectional terrorism

Let the partisans of chaos and the lurking putschists be warned: they do not impress me. Their barbaric gesticulations only highlight their absolute ridicule and political rout. My determination to support President Paul Biya remains intact, protected by an armor of light. No intimidation, no death threat, no cyber-harassment campaign will make me retreat a single millimeter. With President Paul Biya, I walk the only path of truth, a luminous path shared by the immense majority of Cameroonians.

Supporting Paul Biya is not just a political choice; it is respecting the will of God, the supreme being who placed and kept him at the head of Cameroon to make it a providential haven. I have chosen to obey the divine anointing, and I manifest it openly, with pride, a smile, and a resolve of steel. With Paul Biya, we have peace, justice, progress, living together, and a Cameroon united and indivisible. He, and he alone, is our unalterable compass. The intellectual terrorism of the fifth column crashes against the rock of my republican faith.

The invectives of these apprentice sorcerers will systematically collapse before the verdict of the ballot box and the inflexible power of the state apparatus. By opposing the smile of doctrinal certainty to the slime of the media toads, I reaffirm that legitimacy is not negotiated in the gutters of cyberspace or through physical ambushes. I am among the honest people, those convinced citizens who form a block of steel behind our natural leader, President Paul Biya, and no satanic force can crack this blood pact sealed for the survival of the National Triangle.

Conclusion: The intellectual offensive continues

In the end, I order the merchants of hatred to cease their sterile intimidations, for they strengthen my commitment. Very soon, and despite the prophets of chaos, I will organize across the national territory the dedication ceremonies of my book on the Head of State, without fear and under the protection of the institutions of the Republic. I will tirelessly continue to mobilize Cameroonian youth behind the only leader who understands their deep aspirations and brings concrete solutions. Behind President Paul Biya, let us remain standing, for no satanic force can extinguish the clarity of Renewal.

Our fidelity to Paul Biya is an unreachable divine decree. Through him, with him, and in him.

Long live President Paul Biya, our eternal compass!

Long live Cameroon, one and indivisible!
