Women lead a united front in the fight against terror
Led by Ms. Achta Adoum Abdoulaye, Chair of the Provincial Women’s Network, a delegation of women visited the Baga-Sola military headquarters to meet General Saleh Haggar Tidjani, the Government Delegate for the Lac Province. Their mission was unequivocal: to reinforce moral, logistical, and material backing for the troops battling Boko Haram in the region.
Addressing the gathering, Ms. Achta Adoum Abdoulaye praised the tireless efforts of both military and civilian authorities in restoring security and safeguarding stability across the province. She forcefully condemned the latest terrorist strikes that had claimed the lives of several soldiers, extending heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families and the people of Chad.
To give tangible expression to their solidarity, the women’s delegation delivered a shipment of food supplies directly to the frontline troops engaged in counterterrorism operations.
