The Minister of Trade, Luc Magloire Mbarga Atangana, has announced a special promotional sales operation in the city of Yaoundé.

This initiative, organised by the Ministry of Trade, will run for several weeks at the Boulevard du 20 Mai.

The promotional sale of high-demand consumer goods is scheduled from June 22 to September 30, 2026, at the Boulevard du 20 Mai site.

“This event, carried out in partnership with socially responsible companies, is a direct application of the government’s policy to fight the high cost of living. It aims, on one hand, to support households’ purchasing power during the long summer holidays, and on the other, to assist parents with preparations for the 2026–2027 school year by making school supplies available at affordable prices,” the Ministry of Trade stated.

Luc Magloire Mbarga Atangana highlighted that “beyond Yaoundé and its surroundings, as well as major cities, this operation is designed to be rolled out across the entire national territory, in the form of itinerant promotional caravans.”
