The Parti des 7 Merveilles du Peuple Gabonais (7MP) and the Mouvement Oligui Nguema 100% (MON 100%) recently concluded a comprehensive national tour, sharing their findings this past Friday at Cité Damas. This extensive journey, which spanned all nine provinces of Gabon from June 4 to June 25, 2026, provided invaluable insights into the nation’s pulse. During the press conference, leaders from both organizations elaborated on key takeaways from their mission and outlined their strategic direction moving forward.

Spearheaded by Joël Ngoueneni Ndzengouma, who serves as both the founding president of 7MP and president of MON 100%, the delegation actively engaged with citizens, party members, and local leaders across the country. The primary objectives were to gather the pressing concerns of the populace and to assess Gabon’s social and political landscape following the 2025 presidential election.

According to Joël Ngoueneni Ndzengouma, the tour also served as a crucial initiative to bolster the internal structures of both movements. He stated, « Since June 4, 2026, 7MP and MON 100% have united their efforts, building upon the momentum initiated on February 8, 2025. » This collaboration aims to consolidate their influence and operational effectiveness.

Throughout their provincial visits, discussions centered on various issues voiced by the communities. These included critical matters such as youth employment opportunities, reliable access to potable water, the condition of national roadways, healthcare services, educational provisions, and the escalating cost of living. « We journeyed to meet our fellow citizens, to listen attentively, and to gain a firsthand understanding of the realities on the ground, » Ngoueneni Ndzengouma explained.

The leadership of both organizations also announced significant progress in their internal development. They have successfully reorganized their provincial coordinations, updated their membership rosters, and welcomed a substantial influx of new adherents. The movement’s president highlighted, « This mission enabled us to identify new local leaders, solidify MON 100%’s presence across all nine provinces, and secure 1,000 new membership applications. »

The press briefing drew a notable attendance of political figures, including Angélique Ngoma, the Secretary General of the Parti Démocratique Gabonais (PDG), and Gervais Oniane, President of the Union pour la République (UPR).

Addressing the assembly, Gervais Oniane passionately urged political parties to prioritize dialogue and collaborative consultation. He emphasized, « It is imperative that political parties collaborate in a spirit of unity and shared responsibility to effectively support the profound transformations currently underway in our nation. »

Concluding the meeting, 7MP and MON 100% officials proposed the establishment of a dedicated consultation platform. This platform would unite political parties committed to supporting the agenda of President Brice Clotaire Oligui Nguema. They believe such a framework for exchange would significantly enhance coordination among Gabon’s diverse political formations.
