Laborex Tchad marks three decades of dedicated service to chadian healthcare

Laborex Tchad, a prominent subsidiary of the CFAO Healthcare group, recently commemorated three decades of unparalleled leadership in pharmaceutical distribution across Chad. The heartwarming celebration paid tribute to an enterprise that has evolved into an indispensable force in ensuring the consistent provision of essential medicines and medical devices throughout the nation.

Established in 1996, Laborex Tchad has steadfastly supported the country’s national health system for thirty years. Its commitment involves delivering high-quality pharmaceutical products to pharmacies, hospitals, clinics, and health centers in various Chadian cities, notably N’Djamena, Moundou, Sarh, Abéché, and Bongor, among others.

The anniversary event featured insightful addresses from key figures, including the Chairwoman of the Board of Directors, Mme Ngarmbatina Sou IV, and M. Sébastien Roux, the Deputy Zone Director for the CFAO Healthcare group.

In her remarks, Mme Ngarmbatina extended heartfelt appreciation to the Chadian authorities for their crucial support in the initial establishment and subsequent growth of Laborex Tchad. She also conveyed profound gratitude to the financial partners, pharmacists, pharmaceutical depots, hospital facilities, and all clients who have placed their trust in the company’s services.

“You have chosen Laborex Tchad not merely out of routine, but fundamentally based on confidence,” she affirmed. “Our core mission is professionalism: ensuring the correct medication reaches the right location, precisely when needed, for every patient nationwide.”

Visibly moved, she further added, “Thirty years is a significant achievement. We envision at least another seventy years of service ahead of us.”

M. Sébastien Roux, reflecting on his 24-year journey within the CFAO group, lauded the profound human endeavor that Laborex Tchad represents. He paid homage to past leaders, specifically mentioning Mme Maria Mion Calvet, and commended the vibrant momentum currently driven by the General Director, Mme Tignocqua.

“Laborex is both a long-standing institution and, simultaneously, a company that maintains its youthful vigor, thanks to the collective strength of its human resources,” he asserted.

He further extended his appreciation to the Ministry of Public Health for its close collaboration, as well as to partner laboratories, banking institutions, and the entire dedicated staff for their unwavering daily commitment.

“It is through the combined efforts of each and every one of you that we are able to guarantee a dependable supply of pharmaceutical products across the entire nation,” he stated.

The celebratory gathering concluded on a high note, filled with festive energy and enlivened by the captivating rhythms of the balafon, a traditional instrument that left a particularly memorable impression on attendees.
