Nadingar urges genuine dialogue for peace in Chad
Emmanuel Nadingar, President of the Universal Peace Federation’s Chad chapter, held a press briefing on May 23 at the organization’s headquarters in Sabangali, N’Djaména’s third arrondissement.
The former Prime Minister used the opportunity to address escalating global conflicts driven by resource disputes, which he noted often push communities to tighten their ranks and deepen divisions. Closer to home, he acknowledged significant developments in Chad’s socio-political landscape, though he refrained from elaborating further.
Highlighting the urgency of the moment, Nadingar called on all Chadians to reject communal rhetoric, self-isolation, and violence—forces he warned could fragment the nation further. Instead, he championed unity and open-hearted dialogue as the only path to overcoming the country’s pressing challenges.
«Solidarity among Chadians is our greatest strength,» he emphasized. «It is through collective resilience that we will tackle the obstacles before us.»
The Universal Peace Federation, established in 2005, operates in over 190 countries worldwide, advocating for peace and collaboration across borders.
