In a public statement delivered from Nairobi, President Ruto emphasized the importance of fostering stronger cooperation between the two nations to address regional challenges and advance collective interests. He also commended Chad for its pivotal role in supporting the United Nations-backed Multinational Security Support Mission in Haiti, a critical initiative aimed at restoring stability in the Caribbean nation.
During a productive meeting at the State House in Nairobi, President Ruto and his Chadian counterpart, Mahamat Idriss Déby, discussed ways to deepen bilateral relations. The Kenyan leader expressed gratitude for Chad’s significant contributions to the recent Africa Forward Summit, which concluded successfully in the Kenyan capital.
