CLR Gabon gears up for 2027 congress with renewed vigour

Leaders of Gabon’s Centre des Libéraux Réformateurs (CLR) gathered in Libreville over the weekend to officially kickstart the party’s revival. With the 2027 congress looming, the movement founded by Jean-Boniface Assélé is setting out to reorganise, reinvigorate its base and reaffirm its backing for President Brice Clotaire Oligui Nguema.
