Meambly Tié Évariste Reflects on Political Journey and Embarks on New Mission for Côte d’Ivoire

In a heartfelt message marking Côte d’Ivoire’s 66th Independence Day, former parliamentarian Meambly Tié Évariste shared pivotal reflections on his decades-long dedication to public service and outlined his vision for a future rooted in economic development and knowledge sharing. His address, delivered with deep gratitude, resonated across the regions of Cavally, Guémon, and Tonkpi, where he once served in leadership roles.

From Political Leadership to Academic Excellence

Meambly Tié Évariste, a distinguished figure in Ivorian politics, highlighted how his service to the nation extended far beyond his roles as a Deputy, First President of the Guémon Regional Council, and leader of the parliamentary group Agir pour le Peuple. His journey, he noted, has been one of continuous learning and adaptability, driven by a commitment to contribute meaningfully to Côte d’Ivoire’s growth.

“Public service is not confined to political office,” he stated. “It encompasses every space where experience, knowledge, and dedication can foster development—both in Côte d’Ivoire and across Africa.”

A Decade of Political Service and Academic Achievement

Over the past seven years, Meambly Tié Évariste has dedicated himself to advanced studies, earning two Master’s degrees—one in organizational management from Tunisia and another in public policy from Sciences Po Paris, with a specialization in African potential. Currently, he is finalizing a PhD in management sciences, with his defense scheduled for October 2026.

Parallel to his academic pursuits, he has authored several influential books, including:

• Vaincre ou l’art de transformer l’adversité en engagement (Overcoming or the Art of Turning Adversity into Commitment), exploring resilience and perseverance;
• Partenariat public-privé et financement des infrastructures routières en milieu rural (Public-Private Partnerships and Road Infrastructure Financing in Rural Areas), analyzing innovative funding models;
• A third book, set for release in October 2026, will focus on entrepreneurship, real estate, and economic development.

Transitioning Toward Entrepreneurship and Development

After more than a decade in Côte d’Ivoire’s political arena, Meambly Tié Évariste announced a strategic shift toward entrepreneurship and investment. Since 2012, he has expanded his economic activities beyond Côte d’Ivoire, and since 2020, he has based his international ventures in France. With his upcoming doctoral completion, he expressed his intent to channel his energy into job creation, infrastructure financing, and fostering international partnerships that benefit Africa.

“This decision is not made in opposition to anyone,” he emphasized. “It is a natural evolution toward a new phase of life centered on enterprise, knowledge sharing, and sustainable development.”

Reaffirming Commitment to National Progress

Despite his transition, Meambly Tié Évariste remains unwavering in his support for initiatives that promote peace, national cohesion, education, innovation, and youth empowerment. He extended his gratitude to the people of Cavally, Guémon, and Tonkpi for their enduring trust and encouraged them to uphold the values of unity, hard work, solidarity, and brotherhood.
