Ligue 1 2026-2027: PSG and Paris FC first match days and dates against Marseille revealed
The LFP revealed the 2026-2027 Ligue 1 schedule this Wednesday. For the first match day, PSG will play at home at Parc des Princes while Paris FC travels. The clashes against Marseille have also been scheduled.
Paris Saint-Germain now knows its path. As the Professional Football League (LFP) slowly releases the 2026-2027 Ligue 1 calendar this Wednesday, fans of the capital club can already look forward to the key dates of the upcoming season.
The reigning champions will kick off their campaign against Rennes at Parc des Princes on the weekend of August 21-23. It is a tough start, setting the stage for a particularly demanding opening stretch for Luis Enrique’s men. They will travel to Lille on matchday two before hosting Monaco for their third game.
OM-PSG as early as matchday 5
This schedule quickly throws PSG into the deep end, with no room for relaxation before the first international break in mid-September. Indeed, before joining their national teams, Ousmane Dembélé and his teammates will face Olympique de Marseille at the Vélodrome for the season’s first clasico, scheduled for Sunday, September 20. The return leg at Parc des Princes is set for Sunday, February 7, 2027.
The other capital club, Paris FC, has a more fortunate start to its season. Antoine Kombouaré’s side will travel to Troyes, a Ligue 1 newcomer, on matchday one. They will then host OGC Nice at the Stade Jean-Bouin before building momentum with a trip to Marseille and two home matches against high-altitude opponents: Olympique Lyonnais and Strasbourg.
