Morocco joins gaza stabilization force with major military commitment
The Kingdom of Morocco has officially endorsed the agreement governing its involvement in the International Stabilization Force (ISF) deployed in Gaza. This landmark decision was made under the direct guidance of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, Supreme Commander of the Royal Armed Forces (FAR) and Chair of the Al Quds Committee.
The signing ceremony took place in Rabat and was led by Nasser Bourita, Minister of Foreign Affairs, alongside Abdeltif Loudyi, Minister Delegate in charge of National Defense Administration. High-ranking military officials were present, alongside a delegation headed by Nickolay Mladenov, the UN Special Coordinator for Gaza.
According to a statement from the National Defense Administration, this move solidifies Morocco’s role as a founding member of the Gaza Peace Council, aligning with the royal directives announced during the council’s inaugural meeting in Washington. The agreement underscores the Kingdom’s unwavering commitment to global peace, cooperation, and solidarity.

- Deployment of a field military hospital to support humanitarian efforts.
