N’Djamena launches 40-megawatt algerian-chadian solidarity power plant

In a significant step towards bolstering energy infrastructure, N’Djamena recently hosted the groundbreaking ceremony for the new Algerian-Chadian solidarity power plant. The event, marking the official commencement of construction, was presided over by Algerian Prime Minister Sifi Ghrieb, who was joined by Allamaye Halina, the Prime Minister and Head of Government of the Republic of Chad. This crucial project is set to deliver a substantial 40 megawatts of electricity, promising to significantly enhance Chad’s power generation capacity through this vital partnership between Algeria and Chad.
