Rumors of an Ousmane Sonko meeting debunked by close sources
A wave of speculation swept through political circles this Friday morning, detailing an alleged urgent gathering convened by Ousmane Sonko at his residence in Cité Keur Gorgui. Unverified reports suggested prominent Pastef officials, including El Malick Ndiaye, Birame Souleye Diop, Yassine Fall, Daouda Ngom, Abass Fall, and Ayib Daffé, were expected to attend a crucial 6 PM meeting amidst what was described as a tense political climate.
However, information I obtained indicates that these claims are entirely unfounded. A highly reliable source, exceptionally close to the Pastef leader, contacted me directly to unequivocally refute any notion of a political bureau meeting taking place, whether at Ousmane Sonko’s home or at any other location.
The confidant of the Pastef chief firmly stated that no official summons had been issued for such an assembly, condemning the dissemination of what he described as misleading information across social media platforms.
