Traoré Amidou Takes Helm of CI-ENERGIES, Vows to Spearhead Côte d’Ivoire’s Electricity Sector
Yves Konan, president of the council of administration (PCA), handed over the reins of Côte d’Ivoire Énergies (CI-ENERGIES) to Traoré Amidou on Friday, July 24, 2026.
A five-year tenure under Noumory Sidibé has come to an end as CI-ENERGIES transitions to a new era under Amidou’s leadership.
According to a statement released by the council of administration, it praised Sidibé for his ‘remarkable work’ during his time at the helm.
CI-ENERGIES is a public entity responsible for steering and developing Côte d’Ivoire’s electricity sector.
The new director-general vowed to drive the sector forward with renewed commitment.
