Key diplomatic engagements in Abu Dhabi

Chadian President Mahamat Idriss Déby Itno returned to N’Djamena late yesterday following an official visit to the united arab emirates. The trip included two high-level meetings with the emirati president, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. The first encounter took place at the Abu Dhabi presidential palace, while the second was held at the Chadian leader’s residence during the visit.

Warm welcome back in N’Djamena

Upon landing in Chad’s capital, the president was greeted by Prime Minister Allah-Maye Halina and a delegation of top officials. The welcoming committee included the Chief of General Staff of the Armed Forces, several cabinet ministers, the Secretary-General of the Presidency, the Personal Chief of Staff, the Deputy Civil Cabinet Director, the Deputy Special Secretary, and the mayor of N’Djamena.
