Ivorian prime minister rallies investors for 2026-2030 development plan
The second day of the National Development Plan (NDP) 2026-2030 Consultative Group session, specifically aimed at mobilizing investors, was officially launched on July 9, 2026, in Abidjan. The event took place at the Sofitel Hôtel Ivoire and was led by Côte d’Ivoire’s Prime Minister, Robert Beugré Mambé.

Over 700 investors from friendly nations attended the session, marking a significant turnout as the government seeks to harness private capital for its ambitious development goals. Addressing the gathering, Prime Minister Mambé emphasized the strategic importance of this platform for fostering collaboration with the private sector.
« This marks a pivotal moment in our collective journey to drive investment, entrepreneurship, and value creation, » he stated. « The presence of so many investors underscores the confidence in Côte d’Ivoire’s economic potential and its trajectory toward sustained growth. »

Côte d’Ivoire’s development strategy was unveiled during the first day of the Consultative Group, which attracted over 3,000 participants from 49 countries, including local stakeholders. Investors such as Ahmed Cissé (President of the General Confederation of Enterprises of Côte d’Ivoire), Mehdi Tazi (President of the General Confederation of Enterprises of Morocco), and Mohamed Gouled (Vice President of the International Finance Corporation) expressed their confidence in the government’s vision and pledged substantial financial commitments to support the NDP 2026-2030.
