“Praise be to God, prayers and peace be upon the Prophet, his family, and companions.
Dear people,
With immense pride and deep satisfaction, We commemorate today the twenty-seventh anniversary of Our accession to the throne. For twenty-seven years, the will of the Almighty has entrusted Us with guiding your destiny—a noble mission and a monumental task.
In harmony with the Almighty’s words, ‘If you are grateful, I will certainly increase your blessings,’ We thank Him for guiding Us toward success in meeting your aspirations and addressing your concerns.
Never has personal glory or the desire for a title like ‘continental or international leader’ been Our goal. Instead, Our sole focus has always been to fulfill Our responsibility to serve you, ensuring all Moroccans live with dignity as free citizens.
Today, reviewing what We have achieved together fills Us with honor and pride regarding the significance of these gains and instills in Us full optimism for the future.
Rather than a source of personal satisfaction, this assessment fosters a gratifying sense of confidence and serenity that empowers and motivates Us to press forward.
The results of Our actions are no coincidence—they stem from a clear strategic vision and a governance doctrine guided by initiative, rigorous follow-up, constructive self-criticism, and a resolute, positive approach to the future.
Dear people,
Our country stands at a pivotal stage in its development journey, where an ethos of confidence and optimism must prevail over any rhetoric that breeds despair or frustration.
What fills Us with the greatest pride is the security and stability that prevail in Morocco, alongside the effective functioning of public institutions.
Indeed, amid a region and world plagued by turmoil and multifaceted tensions, political and institutional stability is a rare and invaluable asset.
Today, stability is the key variable in Morocco’s development equation. It is also the strategic capital that makes the country proud.
Dear people,
As a nation with a millennia-old history, Morocco draws strength from its ancestral traditions of a nation-state where institutions operate in harmony and complementarity. This ensures progress continues efficiently, and the country succeeds in overcoming challenges despite difficulties and constraints.
In this regard, Morocco has demonstrated its capability through the seamless organization of continental and international events, earning global admiration and respect—though not without provoking envy on occasion.
Furthermore, Morocco has shown remarkable resilience in the face of disasters and crises, notably through its proactive management of floods that affected the Gharb and northern regions.
Thanks to the prevailing security and stability, coupled with institutional efficiency, positive indicators are multiplying across all sectors. This reinforces the economic emergence dynamic and further safeguards national sovereignty.
In fact, the growth rate reached approximately 4.9% in 2025, with expectations of achieving an equivalent or higher rate in 2026.
Regarding agriculture, Morocco experienced abundant rainfall and a successful farming season. This favorable context has strengthened the country’s water and food security.
The automotive, aeronautics, renewable energy, and agro-food industries now form the backbone of the national productive fabric, both for their ability to attract investments and their capacity to generate wealth and employment.
Today, Morocco stands as Africa’s leading car exporter, with an annual production capacity of nearly one million vehicles. The automotive and aeronautics sectors now account for over 40% of the country’s total exports, surpassing the phosphate sector.
To support this trend, We presided earlier this year over the launch ceremony of new industrial units. This milestone positions Morocco among the exclusive group of countries with major hubs for manufacturing aircraft engines and landing systems.
Fueled by the same spirit of innovation and development, large-scale projects are underway to make renewable energy a cornerstone of energy security and a magnet for industries seeking competitive, decarbonized energy.
To operationalize this ambitious strategy, the execution of the ‘Morocco Green Hydrogen Offer’ has begun with the approval of permits for a first group of megaprojects.
Dear people,
In a global context marked by resurgent protectionism and the imperative of securing supply and production chains, We have prioritized strengthening national sovereignty and strategic self-sufficiency as core industrial development axes.
This approach is exemplified most vividly in the agro-food and pharmaceutical industries, which now cover nearly 80% of national needs.
Additionally, the establishment of an industrial and technological base for defense and cybersecurity will gradually consolidate defense sovereignty and create development opportunities, reinforcing the country’s status as a regional powerhouse in these sectors.
Alongside economic advancement, We continue deploying diverse human development initiatives and programs, particularly through the generalization of social protection. Our ultimate goal is to improve living conditions for Moroccans and achieve social and spatial justice.
In this light, We stress the need for efficient implementation of integrated territorial development programs, ensuring they encompass all regions without exception.
Moreover, the economic and social transformation requires mobilizing unprecedented financial resources, primarily from domestic sources.
Therefore, We urge the national financial sector to continue supporting investment and major projects while qualitatively expanding access to financing—both banking and non-banking—for small and medium enterprises, innovation, industrialization, and exports.
We also hope the financial sector becomes more open and innovative to optimize the mobilization of national, particularly institutional, savings and revitalize financial markets. This will accelerate Morocco’s emerging development momentum.
Dear people,
With the Almighty’s grace, We have strengthened Morocco’s position as a credible, respected, and listened-to international actor.
The Kingdom now stands as a leading economic operator and a sought-after partner for new, balanced, and forward-looking collaborations.
Leveraging this status, Morocco can confidently and transparently engage all its partners, presenting constructive partnership offers and promising cooperation initiatives on bilateral and international issues.
Through commitment and responsibility, our country has also chosen to diversify its partnerships to enhance its capabilities and expand their impact across all domains.
Dear people,
These economic and social achievements transcend governmental and parliamentary mandates. They are the result of a cumulative virtuous dynamic spanning years, driven by the country’s strategic orientations and sound major choices.
We hope that after the upcoming legislative elections and the formation of a new government, a new cycle in our development trajectory begins—one defined by preserving achievements and advancing major projects and reforms.
Dear people,
The celebration of the Glorious Throne Day is an opportunity for Us to reaffirm Our pride and esteem for the Royal Armed Forces, the Royal Gendarmerie, the territorial administration, the National Security, the Auxiliary Forces, and Civil Protection. Together, they remain unwavering under Our command, defending national unity and safeguarding the country’s security and stability.
On this occasion, We pay tribute to the heroic martyrs of the Nation, foremost among them Our revered grandfather, the late His Majesty King Mohammed V, and Our illustrious father, the late His Majesty King Hassan II, may God have mercy upon them.
In conclusion, We cite the verse that declares: ‘God does not wrong the righteous.’
Wassalamou alaikoum wa rahmatoullah wa barakatouh.”
