Massive fuel truck convoy reaches Bamako amid tight security

Government-run media in Bamako confirmed the arrival of a critical fuel delivery Saturday morning, as 840 tanker trucks rolled into the capital under heavy military escort. The convoy’s safe passage was ensured by Malian defense and security forces, who maintained round-the-clock vigilance to protect the shipment.

Customs officials and army units worked in full operational readiness, coordinating every phase of the operation to prevent disruptions. Officials noted that the steady arrival of fuel shipments was gradually restoring supply stability across the country, reflecting the collective effort behind the logistical push.
