The Moroccan Attorney General at the Court of Cassation and head of the Public Prosecution, Hicham Balaoui, hosted a working session in Rabat on Thursday, July 9, with Ousmane Abderamane Djougourou, the Inspector General of Chad’s Independent Anti-Corruption Authority. This meeting was part of a working visit aimed at exploring Morocco’s expertise in preventing and combating corruption.

During the discussions, Hicham Balaoui outlined the core pillars of Morocco’s anti-corruption framework, emphasizing the legal and institutional structures in place, as well as the penal policies implemented by the Public Prosecution Service. The talks also covered comparative best practices in anti-corruption efforts, according to official statements.

The Chadian delegation gained insights into several initiatives spearheaded by the Public Prosecution Service, including a dedicated hotline for reporting corruption and embezzlement, along with the digital platform e-TABLIGH. This system enables citizens to report suspected corrupt acts while ensuring secure processing of complaints through advanced digital technologies.
