Senegal football: unity tested as presidential bonuses stir controversy
Just under two months ago, the Senegalese Football Federation (FSF) demonstrated remarkable unity. This collective strength emerged after a pivotal decision by the Confederation of African Football (CAF) appeal jury, which controversially stripped the Lions de la Teranga of their African champion title, subsequently reassigning it to Morocco. In the wake of this ruling, the federation swiftly rallied behind its president, Abdoulaye Fall, to lodge a formal appeal with the Court of Arbitration for Sport.
