Touba, July 30, 2026 — With the Grand Magal of Touba just days away on August 2, 2026, Senegal’s National Assembly President Ousmane Sonko paid a respectful visit to the holy city. He was received by the general Khalife of the Mouride brotherhood, Serigne Mountakha Mbacké, in an atmosphere steeped in reverence and spirituality.
